Stratos Jet Charters Announces Crypto Payment Acceptance via FTXPay

Stratos Jet Charters Inc., Orlando, Florida has announced that it has partnered up with FTX US. This collaboration will allow Stratos Jet customers to pay for services using crypto payments via FTXPay. Stratos Jet’s CEO stated that the company was in search for a crypto partner, and that FTX was an “ideal match”.

Stratos Jet charters Inc. announced Tuesday that it has signed a deal to allow customers to use cryptocurrencies for payment. It is a private jet charter broker. The Stratos Marketplace platform for mobile and desktop devices is offered by the firm. Stratos Jet allows people to book flights instantly. The company also offers FTX integration so clients can book and pay for charter flights.

Joel Thomas, CEO of Stratos Jet, explained that Stratos Marketplace was in search for a partner who can support crypto currencies. Thomas stated that the company chose the crypto company because of the many security and features FTX provides. Thomas stated that the “[FTX] platform was sophisticated but easy to use for clients and integrates seamlessly into our air charter marketplace.

Stratos Jet isn’t the only private jet charter company that allows customers to pay in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin.com News published a report in mid-February on Privatefly, a company directional aviation company. It stated that close to 20% percent of its sales were made in cryptocurrency in January. With Bitpay, people can also use the company Fast Private Jet to make crypto payments.

Brett Harrison, president of FTX US, stated that the Stratos Jet partnership was “acceptable payment in any currency”.

Harrison added that Stratos values customer service and that they are happy to help them with this through their payment platform. It’s exciting to partner with an industry leader and help improve their customer experience, while also increasing the presence of digital assets beyond the traditional financial landscape.

Stratos Jet CEO explained that there has been an “unprecedented amount of demand for private aircraft.” He also stated that FTX’s partnership with Stratos Jet follows a deal with Monumental Sports Entertainment, and a variety of sports-related partnerships within 2021..
