DraftKings to Release Interactive UFC NFT Collection

Sports betting website, DraftKings has partnered up with UFC in order to create an interactive NFT collection. DraftKings UFC Fight NFTs are part of the football “Reignmakers” series. They will allow users to create collections of UFC fighters for fantasy sports. Let’s dive deep into the DraftKings UFC collection.

About the DraftKings UFC collection

According to a press release, the initial UFC NFTs will drop as DraftKings’ “Heatwave Collection”. NFTs will be based on the UFC’s summer schedule. It will start with the July 2nd match between Israel Adesanya & Jared Cannonier.

All in all, the partnership gives DraftKings access to fighter IP from over 500 different active UFC athletes. NFT holders will also receive access to daily fantasy contests and other perks. Fans can also participate in these contests to win cash and custom merchandise.

Currently, DraftKings is developing the exclusive Reignmakers UFC game. It will feature features such as achievements, leaderboards, level-ups and missions once it is launched.
